Hello, I am Nicola Wood. I am the author of The Adventures of Compost. I am level 3 childcare qualified and have always worked with children since leaving college. I have worked in pre-schools, nurseries and holiday clubs. I thoroughly enjoy writing The Adventures of Compost and bringing Compost to life. Without myself, Compost wouldn't have been able to go on all his fantastic adventures.
Hello, I am Lesley Thurlbeck. I am the illustrator of The Adventures of Compost. I have always loved art from an early age. I studied at a College of Education. I worked in the education system for many years around the country. I love doing the illustrations for The Adventures of Compost books
I’m Georgia Hutchinson. I am the illustrator for Compost's Adventures. I have been drawing for years and run my own business called Georgie Maia. I create and design my own stationery as well as illustrating books and projects for other authors and businesses. I’ve run my business for over 5 years alongside my studies. I recently completed my A-levels and will be starting my Economics degree at Durham University shortly. I love travelling so Composts project is perfect for me! I work closely with him and he tells me where he has been or going and I draw. If I need to, I will research more about the country. It is very exciting because Compost is going to places that I haven't been. I’m also an avid reader and love the idea of traditional letters being sent out to document Composts travels!
Hello, I am Darren Wright. I am the Operations Director for The Adventures of Compost. I help Compost when he is planning to go on his adventures. I help him book his plane tickets. Compost lets me know what he wants to do and I plan his days. Compost wouldn't be able to go away if I didn't plan it for him. I just hope 1 day, he will take me on his adventures.
